Hyderabad: After giving bollywood lovers a mini heart-attack, by announcing the end of the popular chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’ (KWK), Karan Johar has revealed the return of the show on a streaming platform. He has also promised that this time ‘there will be conversations that go deep, about love, loss and everything we’ve all been through over the last few years’.

On Wednesday morning, Karan announced the end of KWK through social media. But it turned out that he was just pranking. Hours later, he put up another post announcing the return of the show on Disney+Hotstar platform, much to the relief of die-hard fans of the show. ‘Koffee with Karan’ season seven is going to return on Disney+Hotstar platform.

“Koffee with Karan will not be returning… on TV! Because every great story needs a good twist. I’m delighted to announce Season 7 of Koffee With Karan will stream exclusively on Disney+Hotstar. The biggest movie stars from across India will return to the couch to spill the beans while drinking some koffee. There will be games, there will be rumours put to rest – and there will be conversations that go deep, about love, loss and everything we’ve all been through over the last few years. According to media reports, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh will be the first guests to share the couch and are said to shoot for the show on May 10.
