Kothagudem: Annual Credit Plan target set at Rs 4,971.38 crore

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) would receive Rs 402.81 crore while Rs 176.40 crore goes to educational loans and Rs 436.05 crore goes to housing loans.

Kothagudem: The Annual District Credit Plan for Kothagudem was released on Thursday with the credit flow pegged at Rs 4,971.38 crore to priority and non-priority sectors during 2021-22.

Under the Rs 3851.84 crore agriculture sector lending, the lion’s share of Rs 2781.32 crore goes to farm credit under which Rs 2067.59 crore would be provided for crop production, maintenance and marketing. Rs 933.07 crore was provided for agriculture term loans and ancillary activities.


The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) would receive Rs 402.81 crore while Rs 176.40 crore goes to educational loans and Rs 436.05 crore goes to housing loans. Renewable energy sector would receive Rs 21.20 crore.

Of the Rs 4260 crore credit flow proposed in the previous year loans were Rs 3487.46 crore disbursed by the banks in the district and thus recorded 81.87 per cent credit disbursement target, District Collector, D Anudeep said.
