Kothagudem: The District Bar Association will conduct a State level model screening test for candidates appearing for Assistant Public Prosecutors (APP) examination to be held on Oct 24.
At a programme at the district court complex the Bar Association president Lakkineni Satyanarayana, vice president T Malleshwar Rao, general secretary N Venkat Rajesh and others released a poster on the model test.
Speaking on the occasion, the association president informed that the model screening test will be held at the Kothagudem district court complex on Oct 3 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Lawyers attending the test must bring their identification cards.
Names can be registered for the test at the registration counter on the same day. Cell phones and laptops are not allowed in the exam hall. No TA or DA will be given to the candidates appearing the test, which is free for cost and all candidates must abide by Covid-19 rules.
Additional Senior Civil Judge G Srinivas, Superintendent of Police, Sunil Dutt and Telangana State High Court public prosecutor Pratapa Reddy will release model test question papers at 10 am on Oct 3, Satyanarayana said.
Speaking to Telangana Today, he said the examination for APP posts is being conducted after a 10 year gap and a model test is being conducted with the intention to inspire and enhance the skills of the candidates appearing for the examination which the TSLPRB conducts.
In the past the association had conducted model tests for junior civil judges examination, which was attended by candidates from all over the state. Nearly 500 candidates from the two Telugu states are expected to attend the APP model test.
The results will be declared in the evening of the test day. First three high scorers will be presented mementoes. The answer sheet and key will be handed over to the candidates so that they can themselves check their answers, Satyanarayana explained.
The association office bearers, Kasani Ramesh, Sadiq Pasha, Arakala Karunakar, Sahu Santosh, women’s representative N Pratibha and others are present.
