Kothagudem: Four Maoist sympathisers hailing from Chhattisgarh were arrested by police in Cherla in the district on Tuesday.
Sodi Sona, Sodi Sonu, Sodi Urra and Madakam Sandeep were naxal sympathisers arrested by a joint team comprising Cherla police, CRPF 151 Bn and 204 CoBra personnel during inspections in Cherla, informed Bhadrachalam ASP, Dr. Vineeth G.
They hail from Pavurguda and Gunjeparthi villages of Usoor mandal in Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh. Police seized 20 pamphlets related to 21st PLGA Week to be celebrated from Dec 2 to 8 and rice bags weighing 300 kg from them, he added.
