Cop from Kothagudem creates history by winning one crore in Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu
Participating in the popular 'Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu' hosted by NTR Junior on Gemini TV, Raja Ravindra became the first ever winner of such huge prize money, among both contestants or celebrity participants, on a Telugu channel.
Hyderabad: A 33 year old sub-inspector hailing from Kothagudem, B.Raja Ravindra created history of sorts by winning Rs 1 crore, the highest ever prize money won in a game show on Telugu television channels.
Participating in the popular ‘Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu’ hosted by NTR Junior on Gemini TV, Raja Ravindra became the first ever winner of such huge prize money, among both contestants or celebrity participants, on a Telugu channel.
Occupying the hot seat in the game show and answering questions posed by Jr NTR, several contestants have won prize money in lakhs, but Ravindra became the first contestant to walk away with Rs 1 crore, the channel said in a press release.
Working with the police department, Ravindra is a keen participant in sports and has won several accolades at national and international level police competitions. He aspires to win a medal in air rifle shooting at the Olympics and intends to use the prize money to achieve the dream.
The episode featuring Ravindra’s record victory will be telecast on Gemini TV on Monday and Tuesday at 8.30 pm.
