Hyderabad: The Kothur police on Friday arrested two men for allegedly posing as property owners and cheating ready mix concrete suppliers to the tune of Rs 16 lakh in multiple areas of Telangana.
The suspects, identified as K Ramesh alias Vishal and V Prem Kumar, targeted buildings under construction, placed concrete orders with small advance payments, and later disappeared without clearing the dues.
Police seized Rs 2.39 lakh in cash, a car and four smartphones from them. The duo was caught while allegedly planning another fraud in Inmulnarva village on May 8.
