Nizamabad: Telangana witnessed a rapid increase in the green cover, said Housing, Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy.

On the occasion of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s birthday, Minister planted 1,000 saplings along with health care workers in a Primary Health Centre premises at Velpur mandal headquarters.

The Housing Minister said that by planting one crore saplings Telangana people were giving a gift to the Chief Minister. He thanked Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santhosh Kumar for taking this massive programme on the occasion of CM’s birthday.
