Hyderabad: Tokyo Paralympic gold medallist Krishna Nagar delivered another impressive performance on the international stage, securing one silver and two bronze medals at the British & Irish Para Badminton International held in Dublin.
Krishna partnered Nithya Sre to win the silver medal in the Mixed Doubles SH6 category, while he teamed up with Sivarajan Solaimalai to claim the bronze medal in the Men’s Doubles SH6 event. He also added a bronze medal in the Men’s Singles SH6 category, rounding off an excellent three-medal campaign.
The results underline Krishna’s consistency and versatility across singles and doubles events as he continues to build momentum ahead of the season’s major international tournaments.
“I’m happy to finish the tournament with three medals. Every international event gives me an opportunity to assess my game and work on areas that need improvement. While there are positives to take from this performance, my focus remains on getting better with every tournament and preparing myself for the bigger competitions ahead. I thank my coaches, support staff and everyone who continues to believe in me,” he said.
