KTR, BRS leaders call for urgent relief and safety audit after Pashamailaram reactor blast

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao expressed deep anguish over the reactor explosion at a chemical factory in the Pashamailaram Industrial Area near Patancheru in Sangareddy district on Monday. The incident reportedly claimed at least 10 lives and left several others injured.
Terming the incident “extremely tragic,” Rama Rao urged the authorities to expedite rescue efforts for workers trapped at the site and ensure the best possible medical care for the injured. He stressed the need to conduct safety audits of all industrial units and demanded a thorough investigation into the mishap. He also offered prayers for the deceased and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.
Former Minister and senior MLA T Harish Rao said the fire, which followed the reactor explosion, left several workers trapped inside the facility. He urged the government to take immediate steps to rescue those affected and provide quality treatment to the injured. Rao also extended condolences to the families of the deceased and appealed to the government to provide financial assistance to the victims.
BRS MLC K Kavitha also expressed shock over the tragedy and demanded proper support for the families of the deceased and timely medical attention for the injured.
