Several feared dead, dozens injured in Patancheru chemical plant explosion
A reactor explosion at a chemical factory in Patancheru left several feared dead and many injured. Fifteen people are trapped under debris, while 34 were hospitalised. NDRF, fire, and police teams are engaged in ongoing rescue operations.

Hyderabad: Several persons are feared dead and many others remain trapped under debris following the massive explosion at a chemical factory in the Patancheru industrial area early on Monday.
Initial reports indicated that 15 persons were trapped beneath the debris after the explosion brought down a portion of the building. Around 34 persons sustained injuries and were shifted to four different hospitals. About 108 employees were reportedly on duty at the time of the blast.
Personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Fire and Rescue Services, and the police are carrying out rescue operations.
The explosion, suspected to have been caused by a reactor blast, triggered a massive fire, engulfing parts of the facility and causing panic in the surrounding areas.
