Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao took a dig at the Election Commission of India (ECI), accusing it of turning a blind eye to pre-poll bribery by the NDA government in Bihar.

Reacting to reports of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar disbursing Rs 10,000 crore to 1.21 crore women beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, Rama Rao said the move exposes the hypocrisy of the system.

“Well done ECI. First SIR and mass deletion of votes, and now giving the NDA government full chance to bribe 1.21 crore women voters right before the election. Now over to the charade called ‘Free and Fair’ elections,” he posted on X.
