KTR extends financial support to MBBS student from Kollapur

BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao extended financial aid of Rs 1.3 lakh to MBBS student Borelli Gouri from Veepanagandla mandal, enabling her to continue her medical education at Maheshwara Medical College, Patancheru.

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Friday extended financial assistance to an MBBS student from Kollapur constituency for continuation of her medical education.

Borelli Gouri, daughter of Borelli Narsimha from Kalwarala village in Veepanagandla mandal, secured an MBBS seat at Maheshwara Medical College, Patancheru. However, her family was facing
financial difficulties in paying the course fee.


Upon learning about the issue through social media in October 2024, Rama Rao earlier paid her first-year fee. On Friday, he handed over a cheque of Rs 1.30 lakh towards her second-year fee at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad.

Gouri and her family thanked the BRS working president for supporting her education and helping her continue her medical studies despite financial hardships.
