Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao said the BRS regime gave the much-needed policy push to rural industralisation, which resulted in a robust rural economy. He thanked former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for revolutionising Telangana’s agriculture and allied sectors.
Sharing the success story of Agasthya Foods established in Sircilla, Rama Rao called it an example of the untapped potential in India’s hinterlands. He said the company has set up a world-class food processing facility in Narmala village, producing export-quality superfoods. The unit employs 130 people locally and ships its products to several countries.
“Food processing is a promising sector with huge growth potential in rural India,” he said, adding that initiatives like this demonstrate how agriculture and allied sectors can be transformed to create sustainable livelihoods.
