KTR invited to Global Economic and Technology Summit in Sri Lanka

Hyderabad: Former Minister for IT and Industries and BRS working president KT Rama Rao has been invited to deliver the keynote address at the Global Economic and Technology Summit (GETS) 2025, to be held from November 10 to 12 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. GETS director general A U L A Hilmy extended the invitation on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of Sri Lanka.
In his invitation, Hilmy lauded Rama Rao’s distinguished leadership and transformative role in shaping Telangana as one of India’s most vibrant hubs for IT and industry, calling his initiatives a model for emerging economies. The organisers said his participation would inspire South Asian policymakers and strengthen India–Sri Lanka collaboration in technology and economic growth.
GETS 2025 will host ministers, investors and startup leaders from multiple countries, focusing on building sustainable and technology-driven economies across the region. The summit will bring together global policymakers, entrepreneurs and innovators to discuss digital transformation and regional cooperation.
