KTR meets Mauritian minister to boost trade ties

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao met Hambyrajen Narsinghen, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mauritius, in Hyderabad. The leaders discussed Telangana’s achievements in IT, life sciences, infrastructure, and urban development over the past decade.

Hyderabad: BRS Working President and former Minister KT Rama Rao held a courtesy meeting with Hambyrajen Narsinghen, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade of the Republic of Mauritius, at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the progress and all-round development achieved by Telangana over the past decade. Rama Rao briefed the Mauritian dignitary on the State’s success story in key sectors such as IT, life sciences, infrastructure, and urban development.

The discussion also focused on future opportunities for expanding bilateral trade, attracting investments, and strengthening mutual cooperation between Telangana and Mauritius.

Sharing details of the meeting on X, Rama Rao wrote: “Delighted to meet Hon’ble Mr. Hambyrajen Narsinghen, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade of Mauritius. We discussed Telangana’s phenomenal growth trajectory over the last decade and explored avenues for enhanced trade, investment and collaboration between our regions.”
