Says party cadre fought relentlessly for farmers, women, unemployed and weaker sections and exposing the lies of Revanth’s regime

Hyderabad:  BRS working president KT Rama Rao issued a statement lauding the party cadre on the occasion of New Year, praising their relentless fight against the ‘tyrannical’ Congress regime in Telangana.

Addressing party workers as BRS siblings, he commended their dedication in defending the State’s self-respect and interests. In his message, Rama Rao appreciated the BRS cadre’s efforts over the past year, describing them as the backbone of the party and the protectors of Telangana’s legacy. He said the BRS cadre had instilled confidence among the top leadership, by fighting against all odds and maintaining the same spirit notwithstanding the electoral results.


“You have fought relentlessly for farmers, women, unemployed and weaker sections in every village, standing up for justice and exposing the lies of this ‘Tughlaq’ regime,” he said, referring to the Congress government.

The BRS working president highlighted key moments where BRS efforts forced the government to reverse unpopular decisions, including returning the Rs 100 crore donation to Adani Group. He stated that the BRS cadre’s historic activism, left an indelible mark on Telangana’s political history.

He urged the BRS leaders to continue resisting the Congress conspiracies that threaten to undermine the State’s hard-won achievements. He wannted them to fight on behalf of the victims, citing examples of Musi River project oustees to Lagacherla farmers. “Your struggles represent Telangana’s thought process, protecting the State from regressive policies,” he stated.

Rama Rao termed the BRS workers as the weapons whose efforts today would solidify the future of the party and the State. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to standing with the people and safeguarding Telangana’s self-esteem from divisive forces.
