Hyderabad: Industries Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao lashed out at the BJP government for trying to derive political mileage during the evacuation of Indians from war-hit Ukraine. On Friday, the TRS working president slammed at the Centre for indulging in PR exercises while getting the Indian students back into the country.

Telangana State Technology Services Chairman Jagan Patimeedi had earlier shared a video on twitter in which Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt is heard telling students evacuated from Ukraine that their lives were saved due to the grace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also makes the students to raise slogans of ‘Modi ji zindabad’

Jagan Patimeedi tweeted “Modi ki jai bolo, as you all are being rescued with his grace” and tagged the TRS working president in the tweet. Commenting on the tweet, KT Rama Rao tweeted “Jeevan Bach Gaya Hai Modi Ji ki Krupa Se!!! Seriously, what a terrible way of doing PR with distressed & tired students. Heights of nonsense (SIC),” “By the way who is this Jeevan” jo Bach Gaya?” he further tweeted.
