KTR to attend BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations in Dallas on June 1

Hyderabad: As part of its ongoing Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will celebrate 25 years of its formation with a grand event in Dallas, USA, on June 1. The celebrations will be at the DR Pepper Arena, with BRS working president KT Rama Rao as the chief guest.
BRS global NRI coordinator Mahesh Bigala announced that the Dallas event would be the first in a series of international programmes commemorating the party’s 25-year journey. “This is not just a celebration of a party, but of Telangana’s spirit. The recent public meeting at Elkathurthy proved that the BRS continues to be a symbol of resistance and self-respect for people of Telangana,” he said.
BRS USA advisory board chairman T Mahesh said NRIs across the US are expected to participate in the Dallas event in large numbers.
“BRS entering its 25th year is a proud moment for Telangana. This will be one of the largest gatherings of Telangana NRIs, sending strong political message,” he said. The event will bring together Telangana associations and artistes to celebrate the party’s journey. Celebrations are also being planned in other countries over the next one year, with top BRS leaders expected to participate.
