Hyderabad: The management of Vemuri Kaveri Travels (V Kaveri Travels) blamed the biker for the ghastly fire incident at Kurnool that claimed 19 lives.
Vemuri Venkateswarlu, the owner of the private operator, stated that the bus accident occurred after a biker collided with their bus.
He explained that it was raining at the time, and the biker reportedly skidded and fell under the vehicle, causing the diesel tank to burst and flames to spread rapidly to the bus.
“The fire began near the door, preventing passengers from escaping,” Venkateswarlu said, adding that all the bus documents were valid and that insurance compensation would be provided to the victims by the company.
