Lake view 2BHK homes handed over to beneficiaries in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The brand new housing society, consisting of 330 lake view 2BHK flats located in Ambedkar Nagar, Hussain Sagar, was inaugurated by Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao here on Saturday.
The houses have been built under the State government’s dignity housing scheme. One of the beneficiaries, speaking to the Minister at the inaugural function, said the locality had changed drastically. She mentioned that even a spell of rain would send jitters to the people living in the locality, but now things have completely changed for them.
The Minister, expressing his happiness over the project, said the market rate of each flat in Ambedkar Nagar would sum up to Rs 1.5 crore.
He also said that no other State in the country has taken up a housing programme as massive as Telangana’s Dignity Housing Scheme.
He pointed out that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was standing by the people in important tasks in one’s life ie., building houses and performing the marriages of their daughters through the Kalyana Laxmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes.
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi and GHMC officials were present.
