Land surveyor, Chainman arrested for graft in Mancherial
The ACB sleuths laid a trap when the surveyor and chainman harassed the applicant demanding more money even after receiving a bribe of Rs. 16,500.

Mancherial: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths arrested a land surveyor and chainman while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from an applicant in Mancherial on Wednesday.
ACB officials said that the accused surveyor Polam Manjula and chainman Uday Kumar were trapped when they were accepting the bribe to conduct a survey of a piece of land in survey number 370 in Mancherial mandal and to give a copy of the survey report.
The sleuths laid a trap when the surveyor and chainman harassed the applicant demanding more money even after receiving a bribe of Rs. 16,500.
Subsequently, the accused were produced before a special court for ACB cases in Karimnagar.
