The ACB sleuths laid a trap when the surveyor and chainman harassed the applicant demanding more money even after receiving a bribe of Rs. 16,500.

Shivakrishna, who recently took charge as SI, revived the case and threatened to arrest the five persons if they failed to give Rs 50,000 bribe.

Unable to pay the bribe, beneficiaries approached ACB who hatched a plan and trapped DD and Senior Assistant while accepting the bribe.
