Karimnagar: Collector Pamela Satpathy said that besides language, expression and subject knowledge were more important for students.

In order to send government school students to technology entertainment design (TED) ‘Students Talk’ programme, selection of students was conducted by Paramita educational institutions. Mandal level selection was held in Government school (Danagarwadi), Mankammathota here on Monday.

Attending the programme, Collector said that besides Telugu, learning of English language was also important. English language would help the people to put their opinion and culture before the world.

Though the students were not selected for TED, the issues that were learned in the programme would help them in the future. It was possible to get success if the efforts were continued instead of disappointing with failures, she opined.

It was her desire that a girl student of the government school should deliver a lecture on the world platform. For the first time, the students of government schools were being selected for TED, which is a platform for the students to deliver lectures at international level.

Paramita educational institutions chairman Prasada Rao, MEO Abdul Aziz and others were present.
