Smoke emanates from TGSRTC bus in Karimnagar district; passengers shifted safely
Smoke emanated from a running TGSRTC bus at Alugunur in Thimmapur mandal of Karimnagar district on Monday morning. Alert passengers informed the driver, who immediately halted the vehicle. All passengers were safely shifted to another bus.
Karimnagar: Smoke emanated from a running TGSRTC bus at Alugunur in Thimmapur mandal on Monday morning.
The incident occurred when the bus was travelling from Karimnagar to Husnabad. When it reached Chapala Colony, smoke started coming from the vehicle. Passengers who noticed the smoke alerted the driver, who immediately stalled the bus. The passengers were later shifted to another bus.
The driver suspected that the smoke might have developed due to friction between two tyres after the brakes got stuck.
