Hyderabad: The coming week is packed with exciting OTT releases, offering a perfect mix of crime thrillers, royal family secrets, gripping documentaries and lighthearted adventures.

Top Picks: Crime, Mystery & Family Drama


Costao, releasing on May 1 on ZEE5, features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a brave customs officer in 1990s Goa. The film is based on a real-life story where he fights a powerful gold smuggling network and faces corruption within the system.

On May 2, Kull arrives on JioHotstar. It tells the story of a royal Indian family after the death of its head. With Nimrat Kaur, Ridhi Dogra and Amol Parashar, the show explores secrets, power struggles, and betrayal in a grand palace.

Black White & Grey – Love Kills, streaming on SonyLIV from May 2, is a six-episode docu-drama. It follows journalist Daniel Gary as he investigates shocking murders tied to love and obsession, revealing deep social issues and blurred lines of justice.

International Thrills & Animated Adventures

Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight (April 28, Netflix) takes viewers back to 50 BC Gaul. With magic potions, duels between druids, and Roman enemies, this animated adventure promises laughter and excitement.

Exterritorial (April 30, Netflix) is a German thriller starring Jeanne Goursaud as a mother whose son vanishes inside the U.S. consulate. She risks everything to uncover a hidden conspiracy.

The Eternaut (April 30, Netflix), a sci-fi series from Argentina, shows a deadly snowfall that turns into an alien invasion. Based on a classic 1957 comic, the show follows survivors trying to save humanity.

New Seasons, Sequels & Comedies

Chef’s Table: Legends (April 28, Netflix) marks the show’s 10th anniversary with episodes on famous chefs like Jamie Oliver and José Andrés. It explores their food, stories and how they changed global cuisine.

Another Simple Favor (May 1, Prime Video) brings back Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick. Set in Capri, Italy, this sequel follows a wedding that takes a dark turn with murder and secrets.

Bromance (May 1, SonyLIV) is a Malayalam comedy. It follows Binto, a Gen Z content creator, searching for his missing brother with the help of quirky characters, leading to fun and mystery.

Hard-Hitting Documentary

The Brown Heart (May 3, JioHotstar) is a documentary about heart disease among Indians and South Asians. Directed by Dr Nirmal Joshi, it features doctors and survivors and aims to raise awareness about health risks.
