Leopard found dead at Udmalgidda village in Narayanpet
A team of officials reached the spot and noticed the leopard was stuck between two huge boulders. As per their preliminary investigation, the leopard could have died two days back
Narayanpet: A leopard was found dead in the hillocks at Udmalgidda village under Damargidda mandal here on Tuesday morning. Shepherds rearing their cattle noticed the leopard’s carcass and immediately the forest department was alerted.
A team of officials reached the spot and noticed the leopard was stuck between two huge boulders. As per their preliminary investigation, the leopard could have died two days back.
They ruled out any foul play and said after conducting a postmortem, samples of the carcass would be sent to CCMB, Hyderabad for further investigations.
