Library, CCTV cameras inaugurated at Oorugonda village in Warangal Rural
Damera police with the support of the villagers and donors have set up the library for the use of the students preparing for the competitive exams and CCTV cameras in the village.

Warangal Rural: Commissioner of Police Dr Tarun Joshi and Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy have inaugurated a library and 32 CCTV cameras installed at the Oorugonda village under Damera police station limits in the district on Saturday. Damera police with the support of the villagers and donors have set up the library for the use of the students preparing for the competitive exams and CCTV cameras in the village.
Speaking on the occasion, CP Tarun Joshi said that the CCTV cameras were very much helpful for the police in checking and detecting the crime. “Chain snatching, thefts and other crimes are declining in the State due to installation of the CCTV cameras and continuous surveillance by the police,” he said.
Appreciating the Warangal commisisonerate police for installing the CCTV cameras and setting up the library, MLA Dharma Reddy said that the friendly policing adopted in the State is also yielding good results. He also assured to conduct special coaching classes with his own expenditure for those who are preparing for the police jobs. DCP (East Zone) Venkatalakshmi, Parkal ACP Srinivas, CI Ramesh, Damera SI Bhaskar Reddy, ZPTC Kalpana, Sarpanch Satyanarayana Reddy and others attended the programme.
