Licenses of three traders suspended for flouting norms in selling urea in Asifabad
Three fertiliser outlets in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district have had their trade licences suspended for selling urea to farmers at night without official oversight. Agriculture officials from Kagaznagar division cited violations of distribution norms and warned of strict action against future offenders.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Trade license of three outlets was suspended for flouting norms by selling urea to farmers in Koutala and Sirpur (T) mandals at night, on Thursday.
In a statement, Kagaznagar division Agriculture officials said that license of Kondaiah Traders and Sri Anjaneya Traders from Shirsha village in Koutala mandal and Srinivas Fertilizers of Bhupalapatnam village in Sirpur (T) mandal was suspended for selling the urea at night without knowledge of the authorities on September 19.
As per norms, the traders should distribute the fertilizer to farmers in presence of the officials. Stern action will be taken against those traders who violate the rules, the officials warned.
