Life sentence to man convicted for stabbing wife in Shadnagar

The convicted person J Ramesh (36), a farmer, in an argument grabbed a knife and stabbed J Lalitha (30) indiscriminately, succumbing her to the injuries while undergoing treatment.

Hyderabad: A local court on Friday sentenced a man to life imprisonment in the murder case of his wife reported at Shadnagar in 2020.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on him.

The convicted person J Ramesh (36), a farmer from Annaram in Farooknagar, often picked up argument with J Lalitha (30), his wife and harassed her both mentally and physically on trivial matters.

After one such argument, he grabbed a knife and stabbed her indiscriminately . She died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The Shadnagar police registered a case arrested Ramesh.
