The Telangana State Development Planning Society has forecast that the city will receive light to moderate showers at isolated places for the next two days.
Hyderabad: After two weeks of almost no rain, the city witnessed light drizzles in a few areas.
The sun played hide-and-seek in several localities in central Hyderabad. Srinagar colony recorded the highest rainfall of 1.5 mm while several other areas, including Khairatabad, Musheerabad, Jubilee Hills and parts of Osmania University also enjoyed light showers on Thursday afternoon.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of 33 degree Celsius was recorded at Kapra. The lowest temperature of 22.3 degree Celsius on Thursday morning was recorded at Central University.
The Telangana State Development Planning Society has forecast that the city will receive light to moderate showers at isolated places for the next two days. However, the weather will mostly remain dry. The maximum temperature in the city during the period is expected to be between 31 degree Celsius and 33 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be in the range 21 to 23 degree Celsius.
A few districts of Telangana also recorded only light to moderate rains on Thursday. Areas in Nirmal, Mahabubabad, Siddipet and Bhadradri Kothagudem witnessed upto 7 mm rainfall. Venkatapuram, Mulugu recorded the highest rainfall of 11 mm.
