Loan app harassment: Man ends life in Medak
Maddi Gangadhar (30), who borrowed Rs 3.20 lakh through an online loan app, died by suicide by consuming a pesticide at Katriyal in Ramayampet mandal.

Medak: A man, who borrowed Rs 3.20 lakh through an online loan app, died by suicide by consuming a pesticide at Katriyal in Ramayampet mandal.
Maddi Gangadhar (30), had repaid Rs 1.20 lakh of the loan. However, when he was late to repay the remaining amount on time, the loan app executives allegedly began harassing him. Unable to bear the harassment, he consumed pesticide three days ago. Gangadhar breathed his last on Tuesday morning.
A case was registered. A probe is on.
