Lockdown violation: Birthday party organiser still absconding

Hyderabad: The Kadthal police have formed two special teams to trace and nab Varun Goud, the birthday boy and 64 others who participated in the birthday party organised at the farmhouse on Sunday.
The police have booked a case under sections of the Disaster Management Act and Telangana Excise Act and arrested three persons K Bharath, Zeeshan Ali Khan and M Anvesh.
According to the police, the farmhouse, situated on the outskirts of Kadthal village had guests consuming alcohol and dancing, violating the Covid-19 lockdown rules and celebrating Varun’s birthday.
“Our teams reached the spot and stopped the party. When asked if they had permission for conducting the event, they failed to show any documents,” said an official, adding that the event was organised by Zeeshan Ali Khan, and Anvesh Goud.
