Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Monday took a sharp dig at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over the proposed Future City project, questioning the government’s priorities when Hyderabad’s existing infrastructure was in disarray.
“Let’s look to the future but live in the present,” he remarked, urging the Chief Minister to first address the city’s deteriorating condition before dreaming of futuristic projects.
Taking to X, Rama Rao said Hyderabad was plagued by pothole-ridden roads, poor sanitation management, alarming rise in mosquito menace and viral infections, due to the Congress government’s neglect of urban governance.
“Before setting out to build a grand real estate project called ‘Future City’, can you take care of the city that we all presently live in?” he asked pointedly.
