Lorry, bike gutted in separate accidents in Telangana’s Sangareddy
On noticing smoke emanating out of the tyres, the lorry driver stopped the vehicle on the roadside immediately
Sangareddy: A lorry went up in flames near the IDA Bollaram exit on Outer Ring Road (ORR) under Ameenpur police station limits as it caught fire on Friday. The lorry was carrying poultry feed to Visakhapatnam from Maharashtra.
The driver of the lorry noticed the smoke emanating out of the vehicle tyres. He stopped the vehicle on the roadside immediately. He then called the Fire Department without delay. However, the lorry was reduced to ashes before the fire tender reached the spot.
In another incident, a bike was gutted when a speeding car hit the former near Hathnoora. The bike rider Kala Chiranjivi sustained serious injuries in the mishap.
