During Diwali celebrations in Hyderabad, over 70 people, mostly children, sustained eye injuries from firecrackers. Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital treated most patients on an outpatient basis, while a few were admitted for observation and potential surgical intervention.
At least 47 people, including 20 children, were injured during Diwali celebrations in Hyderabad, most due to firecracker accidents. Four fire incidents were also reported across the city, causing significant property loss but no casualties, officials said.
