Jagtial: Jagtial police busted a lorry-lifting gang and arrested two of its members. Separated body parts of a stolen lorry were recovered from them. Producing the accused before media persons here on Sunday, Jagtial DSP R Prakash explained the modus operandi of the gang. While two persons Gajanan Bisle and Gous Khan were arrested, three other members of the gang are absconding. A lorry parked near Chalgal in the outskirts of Jagtial town was stolen on December 15.
Based on a complaint lodged by the owner Mohammed Abbas, Jagtial rural police registered a case and began an investigation. As part of the investigation, the police on Saturday found Gajanan Bisle moving under suspicious circumstances at the spot from where the lorry was stolen. On questioning, he confessed to the crime and said the lorry was taken to Nanded in Maharashtra. A team of police went to Nanded where the lorry was hidden and arrested another person Gous Khan, who purchased two tires of the stolen lorry. Police produced the accused in court.
