MA & UD appoints Joint Managing Director for HMWSSB and Executive Directors for three municipal corporations
In a first in its four-decade history, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has been appointed a Joint Managing Director. MA&UD posted Mayank Mittal to the new role and also named Executive Directors for GHMC, Malkajgiri and Cyberabad.
Hyderabad: For the first time in the four decades of HMWSSB history, the MA&UD appointed a joint managing director for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) and issued orders on Wednesday.
Mayank Mittal, who was working as HMWSSB executive director, was posted as Joint Managing Director.
The Managing Director, K Aashok Reddy, however continued as Managing Director, HMWSSB, and remained unchanged.
The MA&UD also appointed three executive directors to the three municipal bodies, including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation, and the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.
S Pankaja, additional commissioner, Urban Community Development (UCD), was transferred and posted as HMWSSB executive director, Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
Samrat Ashok Nama was posted as HMWSSB executive director, Hyderabad.
M Santosh, District Registrar, Registration and Stamps Department, Ranga Reddy, was transferred and posted as HMWSSB executive director, Cyberabad.
