MAA polls: Telugu movie artistes urged to attend work only after voting
As per the letter received from election officer V Krishna Mohan, artistes are urged to resume work at 2pm soon after casting their vote on the polling day of October 10, said a press release.
Hyderabad: With just three days left for the polling day for Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA), the Telugu Film Producers’ Council on Thursday appealed to movie artistes to take part in the voting that is going to be held at Jubilee Hills Public School on October 10.
As per the letter received from election officer V Krishna Mohan, artistes are urged to resume work at 2pm soon after casting their vote on the polling day of October 10, said a press release.
Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu remained the strong and only two contenders to vie for president’s post in the MAA elections. Agendas that have been so far discussed and debated upon include — permanent structure for the association, development of MAA, health and timely employment for aristes among several other issues. About 900 members of MAA would decide their president on October 10 and results are expected to be announced on the same evening.
