Hyderabad: Outsiders and the people inside the Telugu film industry have been thinking that the rivalry is still brewing between the Mega family and the Manchu family of Mohan Babu. Movie Artistes Association (MAA) president Manchu Vishnu got an invite from Bandaru Dattatreya to attend ‘Alai Balai’ programme that was held in the city recently.
Vishnu chanced upon meeting some prominent personalities both from politics and the film industry. Later, he posted a video on his Twitter handle showing Power Star Pawan Kalyan seated on the dias. “Can you guess who’s at the end of the video?” He wrote a flexed biceps emoji.
And a few social media users reacted and even mocked Vishnu as to how he was being ignored by the Power Star. Reacting to them, Vishnu laughed out loud and called them “silly trolls”. He later reasoned out stating that it’s impolite to strike conversation with the Power Star since the Vice-President of India was addressing the meeting. Meanwhile, Manchu Lakshmi, too, voiced out a similar opinion saying it is not right to judge the situation with a single photograph. Both talked to each other during the event. Everything is good, everyone in the film industry is united and we work together, she said.
Meanwhile, Vishnu on Tuesday posted a YouTube link which shows both himself and Power Star actually sharing lighter moments during the event. And other film character artistes were also present. Sharing it on his platform, he wrote, “What really went down.”
