Mahabubabad: In a shocking incident, a woman had murdered her husband by chopping off his private parts at Vankudothuthanda of Tanamcherla revenue village of Marripeda mandal in the district on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Bhukya Bichya (53).

It is alleged that Bichya’s wife Prameela had resorted to this crime as he had been harassing for physically and mentally for a long time due to his addiction to liquor. On Tuesday night too, he reportedly came home in an inebriated condition and entered into a duel with her.

Meanwhile, vexed with his alleged harassment Prameela had cut off his genitals to kill him when he fell into sleep. He succumbed to the injuries on the spot. Learning about the incident, Marripeda CI N Sagar, SI P Praveen with other policemen visited the spot and shifted the body for postmortem. Bichya and Prameela have a daughter and a son.
