Maharashtra man caught selling ganja in Hyderabad, couple among 14 detained
As part of its relentless crackdown on drugs, the police caught 14 persons including a couple who had come to the spot to purchase ganja.

Hyderabad: In a major operation, 14 people, including a couple, were caught by Anti Narcotics EAGLE team in connection with the alleged consumption of drugs at Gachibowli on Saturday.
According to the police, a man from Maharashtra was regularly selling ganja to customers near an HDFC Branch at Gachibowli and special teams were formed to nab him.
“The man was caught with five kilograms of ganja which was bought from Maharashtra. He would make small packets of 50 grams each and sell it to consumers for Rs. 3,000 each,” said Superintendent of Police, EAGLE, Ch. Rupesh.
As part of its relentless crackdown on drugs, the police caught 14 persons including a couple who had come to the spot to purchase ganja.
The police authorities conducted on-the-spot drug tests on these individuals and they were tested positive for drug consumption. The detained individuals will be sent to a certified de-addiction centre for further treatment, the official added.
