Nearly 11 years after the fantasy action comedy Khaleja, Mahesh Babu has, once again, teamed up with Telugu industry’s one of the ace directors Trivikram Srinivas. Mahesh is currently occupied with his movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which is being directed by director Parasuram. Even before the completion of this movie, Mahesh has given his nod for a new movie with director Trivikram.
Film production company Haarika & Hassine Creations delayed the announcement. The blockbuster film Athadu in the combination of superstar Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram, who is known as ‘wizard of words’ in the film circles, first came out in 2005. The action thriller starring Mahesh, Trisha, Sonu Sood, Sayaji Shinde, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam was a massive box office hit.
The announcement of their latest collaboration was trending with #SSMB28 on Twitter before and soon after the announcement. Producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments posted on his handle about the announcement; however, it was delayed. Later, the announcement came from Haarika & Hassine Creations.
The movie, to be produced by Suryadevara Radhakrishna (ChinaBabu) under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner, will be launched with a puja ceremony on May 31 marking the occasion of Superstar Krishna’s birthday. It is likely to be released in summer 2022. The movie is being presented by Mamatha.
There is another news doing the rounds that Puri Jagannadh is likely to narrate a story to Mahesh Babu.
Meanwhile, Mahesh has been requesting people to take proper care as the country reeling under Covid-19. In his recent post on Instagram, he wrote, “As India battles a devastating second wave, I urge you all to adhere to these simple rules and help our nation sail through this crisis. I’d like to thank all our frontline workers leading the battle against COVID-19 and all of you working tirelessly to gather all the resources needed. To the families who’ve lost their loved ones, sending you love and strength. We are all in this together. Please stay strong and safe (sic).”
