Hyderabad: Telangana’s Maheshwari Gopa bagged a silver medal in the women’s 3000m Steeplechase event at the 2nd Senior Indian Grand Prix held at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Wednesday.
She was sponsored under the Mytrah Athletics project by Sports Authority of India (SAI).
Parul Chaudhary from Uttar Pradesh won the gold with 9:30.29 sec while Maheshwari took the silver with a timing of 10:52.49 sec.
