Mailardevpally receives highest rainfall in Rajendranagar in Hyderabad on Saturday morning:
Hyderabad saw overcast skies and light drizzles on Saturday after days of heavy rain. While rainfall intensity eased, Himayathsagar and Osmansagar continued receiving heavy inflows, bringing water levels close to Full Tank Level, prompting officials to monitor the situation closely.

Hyderabad: Weekend in Hyderabad dawned with a blanket of thick clouds spread across the skies and an almost incessant drizzle of varying intensity greeting the denizens.
Intermittent drizzles having taken over from the heavy lashing of the last few days had the intensity of rainfall coming down. Till Saturday noon, the highest rainfall of 15 mm in the city was recorded at Mailardevpally in Rajendranagar mandal.
According to rainfall data measured by the Telangana Development Planning Society, since 5 am, the rainfall continued in Shaikpet, Serilingampally, Asifnagar, Kukatpally, Nampally, Charminar, Amberpet, Khairatabad, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Manikonda, Himayathnagar, Banjara Hills, Saroornagar, Uppal, Malkajgiri, Musheerabad, Marredpally, Secunderabad Cantonment.
Sainikpuri in Kapra GHMC circle received the lowest rainfall of 3.3 mm while Saidabad, Shaikpet, Marredpally, Serilingampally, Malkajgiri, Hayathnagar, Charminar, Nampally, Amberpet, Uppal, and Secunderabad received rainfall ranging from 3 mm to 14 mm up to 11 am.
Meanwhile, heavy inflows into Himayathsagar continued and by 10 am today, 1,100 cusecs of inflows came into the reservoir from upstream areas. The water level at this reservoir stood at 1,761 feet, just two feet from the FTL of 1,763 feet.
In Osmansagar, inflows of 150 cusecs were recorded at 10 am and as against a FTL of 1,790 feet, water stood at 1,782 feet. In Hussain Sagar, the recorded minimum water level at 7 am was 513 meters against the present water level of 514 meters.
