Major burglary at electronics showroom in Khammam, police probe underway
Unidentified miscreants broke into the Sonovision electronics showroom in Khammam during midnight hours on Wednesday and decamped with high-end mobile phones.
Khammam: A major burglary took place at the Sonovision showroom, an electronics showroom in the city, during midnight hours on Wednesday.
On receiving the information, Commissioner of Police Sunil Dutt visited the site to take stock of the situation. Local police initiated an investigation following a complaint from the management, which stated that unidentified miscreants broke the locks, entered the premises and stole high-end mobile phones stored in the stockroom.
The CLUES Team swung into action, collecting fingerprints and other crucial evidence. Police are thoroughly examining CCTV footage from the area surrounding the shop. The value of the phones stolen from the showroom is yet to be assessed.
