Major fire breaks out in automobile shop in Hyderabad’s Yousufguda

Hyderabad: Property worth several lakhs gutted when a fire broke out at an automobile shop at Yousufguda late on Wednesday.

According to the police, the fire broke out around midnight in the SR Automobiles located at the ground floor of a building on Yousufguda main road. The fire personnel, on being alerted by the police, reached the spot and took up fire fighting operation.

The fire personnel had to summon a JCB to breakdown the shutter of the establishment to carryout fire fighting.

It took almost two hours for the fire fighters to bring the blaze under control. The officials suspect the fire might have started due to a short circuit. The police had cordoned of the area as a precautionary measure when fire fighting operation was going on.
