Major reshuffle of IAS officers in Telangana
Top officials, including Smita Sabharwal, Jayesh Ranjan, M Dana Kishore and Shashank Goel, among those transferred and given new postings
Hyderabad: After appointing a new Chief Secretary, the State government on Sunday transferred several IAS officers, including the Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister on Sunday.
Top officials, including Smita Sabharwal, Jayesh Ranjan, M Dana Kishore and Shashank Goel, were among those transferred and given new postings. According to GO Ms 515, Dr MCR HRD Institute director General Shashank Goel was transferred and posted as Vice Chairman of Centre for Good Governance. He was also placed in Full Additional Charge (FAC) as Director General, EPTRI, relieving Ahmad Nadeem from FAC of the post.
Special Chief Secretary (ITE&C and Sports) Jayesh Ranjan was transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government and CEO, Industry & Investment Cell in CMO and Smart Proactive Efficient and Effective Delivery (SPEED). He was also placed in FAC as Special Chief Secretary to Government, YAT&C Department and Director, Archaeology as Smita Sabharwal was transferred. Sabharwal was posted as Member Secretary, TG Finance Commission.
Special Chief Secretary (LET&F) Sanjay Kumar was transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department and ITE&C and Sports as Jayesh Ranjan was transferred. Principal Secretary (MAUD) M Dana Kishore was transferred and posted as Principal Secretary (LET&F) as Sanjay Kumar was transferred. He was also placed in FAC as Commissioner, Labour, Director, Insurance Medical Services and Director, Employment & Training. He will also continue in FAC of the post of Principal Secretary to Governor.
Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration TK Sreedevi is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration (outside HMDA). She was also placed in FAC as Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration, (for Municipalities & Corporations outside ORR limits). GHMC Commissioner Ilambarithi K was transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Metropolitan Area & Urban Development Department (HMDA limits). Health & Family Welfare Director RV Karnan was transferred and posted as GHMC Commissioner in place of Ilambarithi.
State Flagship projects Commissioner K Shashanka was transferred and posted as Commissioner, Future City Development Authority (FCDA). He will continue in FAC as Director, Mines & Geology. I&PR Commissioner and EO Special Secretary, GA(I&PR) S Harish, was transferred and posted as GENCO CMD duly relieving Sandeep Kumar Sultania from FAC of the post. He was also placed in FAC as Joint Secretary to Revenue Department. TGIRD CEO K Nikhila was placed in FAC of the post of Secretary & CEO, Telangana Human Rights Commission.
Joint Secretary to Chief Minister S Sangeetha Satyanarayana was transferred and posted as Director, Health & Family Welfare as RV Karnan was transferred. She was also placed in FAC as the CEO, Arogyasri Health Care Trust duly relieving RV Karnan from FAC of the post.
Director, Protocol and Joint Secretary to Government (Protocol) S Venkata Rao was transferred and posted as Director, Endowments. He was also placed in FAC of the post of Executive Officer, Yadagirigutta Temple. State Finance Corporation Joint Managing Director P Katyayani Devi was transferred and posted as Additional CEO, SERP. School Education Director EV Narsimha Reddy was transferred and posted as Additional CEO, Industry & Investment Cell & SPEED. He was also in FAC as Managing Director, Musi River Development Corporation Ltd(MRDCL) relieving Dana Kishore as FAC of the post.
TGMSIDC Director Bhorkhade Hemant Sahadeorao was transferred and posted as Zonal Commissioner, GHMC while Chief Rationing Officer, Hyderabad G Phaneendra Reddy was transferred and posted as Managing Director, Telangana Medical Services Infrastructure Development Corporation (TGMSIDC) in his place.
Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Hyderabad P Kadhiravan was transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, PR & RD. OSD to Chief Secretary K Vidya Sagar (Non-Cadre) was transferred and posted as Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Hyderabad in his place. Vidya Sagar was also placed in FAC of the post of Chief Rationing Officer, Hyderabad in place of Phaneendra Reddy. On transfer, R Upender Reddy (Non-Cadre), was posted as Secretary, HMDA.
