Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Cybercrime Police solved six cases and arrested seven offenders during a week-long crackdown conducted from February 22 to 28.

The cases included three investment frauds, one matrimony fraud, one loan app fraud, and one digital arrest fraud.

Cybercrime officials said the arrested suspects were a part of wider networks operating across multiple States, with several of them allegedly providing bank accounts to fraudsters on a commission basis to route stolen money.

Further, the cybercrime officials had facilitated court-approved refunds amounting to Rs 53.27 lakh to victims during the week.

Victims of cyber fraud should report immediately through the national helpline 1930 or the cybercrime portal.
