Malkajgiri She Teams arrested 181 people, including 33 juveniles, in a special drive against harassment of women from February 16 to March 15. The teams handled 223 complaints, booked multiple cases, and provided counseling, including for phone and social media abuse.

Hyderabad: As part of intensified efforts to curb harassment of women, the Malkajgiri She Teams nabbed 181 persons, including 33 juveniles, during a special drive conducted between February 16 and March 15.

During the same period, a total of 223 complaints were received, including 57 related to phone harassment, 53 related to social media abuse and 113 complaints related to direct or physical harassment. The police registered eight criminal cases, booked 57 petty cases and counseled 122 persons.

She Teams also took swift action in several serious cases, including blackmail using personal photos, molestation of a woman on the road, harassment of a college student and stalking of a young woman.
