Mamatha steers Hyderabad girls to victory in Under-19 Cricket league

Hyderabad: Opener W Mamatha (75 not out off 90 balls, 10×4) steered Hyderabad to a facile eight-wicket win over Vidarbha in the fifth round match of the women’s Under-19 one-day cricket league match in Ahmedabad on Monday.Chasing 121 for win, Hyderabad coasted home in 31.3 overs.

But Mamatha and Boddu Anjali (23) stitched 96 runs for the first wicket with the former being the dominant partner. However, Anjali departed after scoring 23. Mamatha, in the company of G Trisha, took Hyderabad past the Mumbai total.
